For cats who enjoy visual stimulation, fresh air but prefer their own space
We have seven units of approximately 8 sqm, which were built in 2019 and are part of the main cattery building.
The Outdoor-Facing Individual Units combine privacy with connection to the natural environment. While part of the main cattery building, these units face outdoors and offer views of surrounding greenery and bush.
Each unit features a PVC drop that can be opened to allow fresh air and natural light, giving curious cats the chance to observe the world outside while remaining safe and secure.
These units suit cats who enjoy visual stimulation and fresh air but prefer their own space rather than communal living. They comfortably accommodate one or two guests and are equipped with everything needed for a relaxed stay.
The adjacent units are separated by stainless steel mesh, where the guests can see their neighbours.
The units are configured in such a way that sliding doors between the adjacent units can be pulled back, to make larger units, if necessary.
Each unit has a large piece of robust KatAttack furniture, two shelves at staggered heights and additional bedding, its own litter tray and water bowl and food bowls which are all kept away from other guests to avoid cross contamination.
These units cater for guests with shy personalities, indoor cats with little socialisation, or those who simply enjoy peace and routine while still benefiting from attentive care and daily interaction.
Clients are welcome to bring any items from home to help their cats settle into their new surroundings, toys, bedding, something that smells of the client (pillowcases are popular).
